Vaccinations
Armadale Farm Kennel requires that all pets coming in for boarding, day camp OR grooming must be up-to-date on all vaccinations. This is for the safety of your pet as well as all of the other pets we have boarding in our facility.

We prefer all clients to fax vet records before admission. A $10 verification fee will be charged if we must obtain the records ourselves. Otherwise, a written copy must be presented when your pet checks in.

Dogs must be vaccinated against Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and 6-month Bordetella (Canine Cough or Kennel Cough).  Proof of an annual Heartworm test and Fecal test are required.

Cats must be vaccinated against Rabies, Feline Leukemia, and Feline Distemper.  Proof of an annual Fecal test is required.

Routine veterinary care can be arranged through us with Armadale Animal Hospital if necessary.  All veterinary costs before, during, or after boarding will be borne by the owner of the pet.

Make sure we have all of your pet’s vaccine information BEFORE drop-off day.  You can send them by mail, fax, or you can drop it off and receive a tour when you come.  Most veterinary offices will forward the information to us if they receive ample notice.  It can be time consuming to you and our staff and can delay travel plans if we have to attempt to get the information at drop-off time.

If we must verify vaccination information, you will be assessed a $10.00 verification fee.  Our fax number is (919) 847-2013.

Accomodations for Dogs

Our entire kennel is heated and air conditioned

We offer three types of enclosures for your dog:

Indoor/Outdoor Runs:
Indoor/Outdoor runs are our most popular enclosure. Your dog can run in and out through a swinging door throughout the day. Dogs do not have outdoor access at night. These runs measure 15 feet long and are 3 to 4 feet wide.

Be sure to reserve our indoor/outdoor runs well in advance since they book up quickly!

Indoor Runs:
Our indoor runs are comfortable for most small- to medium-sized breeds and are located completely inside the kennel. two outdoor walks daily are included each day as a part of the standard boarding rate. Each indoor run measures 3.5 feet by 4.5 feet.

Condos:
Condos are reserved for smaller dogs. A condo measures approximately is 3 foot by 3 foot. Dogs boarding in these runs receive two outdoor walks each day as part of the standard boarding rate.

Accomodations for Cats

Our cat facility is separate from the dogs and is bright and quiet. Skylights add natural light to the cat environment. Your cat will have an opportunity to exercise and play every day.

Each cat condo measures 3 foot by 3 foot and is about 6 foot high. There are two levels to the condo which include a perch on each level.
